Mile Sur Mera Tumhara V/s Phir Mile Sur Mera Tumhara

The new version of the almost national anthem of INDIA Mile sur Mera Tumhara ,Phir Mile Sur Mera Tumhara was not that promising. The original version spearheaded a unified force India projecting national integrity through its diversity. The old composition was impeccable. Unfortunately, the new version failed to touch the hearts of many Indians. It lacked the spirit of India. Ever since it’s been released, video has been on the radar of
denunciatory criticism of the whole nation. The inclusion of the large number of Bollywood and other regional actors questioned the maker of the contribution of these people to the actual India. Well I’m not over looking the effort of the makers to show the young and growing India. Definitely with time things should change and should be incorporated but at the same time it should reflect the reality. Cricket is a religion in India Sachin’s Century is celebrated countrywide and it cuts through class, religion and caste. Where is Sachin in the video??.Dr Abdul Kalam, our former president may be the most influential president of all times, a true warrior of science and knowledge. His Contribution to India is unquestionable and most appreciated. Likewise there are many people who should have been in the video and deserved to be a part of this legendary composition.

Or may be the video actually reflects the true Indians of the contemporary world . We value more of Bollywood than real people (Dr Abdul Kalam). We glue to the TV to watch half naked Deepika Padukone to a talk of Dr.Abdul Kalam or Ratan Tata. May be its true we are cruising towards the western way of living where rationality takes a back seat.
