TIME IS MONEY & MORE MONEY IS IPL.

IPL is more money is a proven fact.

As IPL goes to season 4, advertisers make merry.

Read below what Rohit Gupta President of Multi screen Media (MSM) had to say.

“We have had about a 20-25 per cent growth in ad rates since last year. This year, our pricing for sponsors was about Rs 5 lakh for 10 seconds. For spot buyers, our rates stood at Rs 5.5 lakh per 10 seconds, which we have now increased to Rs 6 lakh. In terms of viewership, in season one, IPL touched 100 million people, rose to 121 million in season two and last year, it rose to 143 million people. We expect this growth to continue, and so will the ad rates.”

He also further states that "World Cup has not overshadowed IPL even a bit".Moreover, he says for advertisers IPL is a safer bet that WC.

I’m not against IPL, but when we rig money through IPL, we should try to channelize it to the other areas so a fairer economic & social development happens.It should not be yet another institution of "RICH BECOMING MORE RICH & POOR BECOMING MORE POOR"

If IPL is the biggest money minting machine in India, why can’t we think of clubbing the profit of IPL with NREGA workers wage?

Or likewise schemes, so that it’s a win-win situation for all. The popularity of the game enhances and also social & economic development of the people.
